Key Responsibilities The following are the essential duties and responsibilities of a National Accounts
Representative. Other duties may be assigned.


Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key customer and vendor contacts, ensuring alignment
with service goals and expectations.
Act as the primary point of escalation for complex customer needs and service issues, providing timely
resolutions.
Deliver professional, proactive communication to customers and affiliates, enhancing trust and longterm
partnerships.
Coordinate and oversee the lifecycle of complex work orders, including dispatching, tracking, and closing
tasks.
Provide in‐depth reporting and analysis to customers and management, ensuring transparency and
actionable insights.
Monitor and maintain compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), identifying trends to improve
efficiency.
Support and guide National Accounts Representatives in their daily operations, offering expertise and
training.
Act as a resource for troubleshooting workflow challenges, ensuring smooth and effective team
operations.
Assist management in process development, implementation, and optimization to enhance overall team
performance.
Review and approve complex markup, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer expectations.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve escalated discrepancies and ensure timely submission of required
paperwork.
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors for high‐priority or large‐scale service requests.
Lead projects to improve operational workflows, streamline communication, and enhance service
delivery.
Maintain detailed records and documentation in internal systems, ensuring consistency and
accountability.
Review the Call Analysis report from your account manager and provide status on work orders.
Review exception management queue and mark‐up queue daily.
Review all paperwork for completeness and accuracy including the NTE (Not to Exceed) amounts on
customer POs (purchase orders) prior to mark‐ups.
Mark‐up/price the service and inspection call properly
