Purpose of Your Job Position:

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, budgets, governmental and tax reporting support, and audit support for assigned nonprofit corporations. Each Senior Accountant is assigned several corporations of the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles. The role ensures accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards and provides meaningful financial indicators for assigned corporations.
