Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: New Jersey

Salary: $95,000-$120,000

Company Summary: A growing, highly regulated manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance and accounting team. This individual will play a critical role in managing the month-end close process, maintaining general ledger integrity, preparing financial and management reports, and supporting external audits. This position offers significant exposure across accounting operations and business functions, providing the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, strengthen internal controls and support the financial reporting needs of a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and financial reporting schedules
• Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Prepare management and investor reporting, including variance analysis and supporting schedules
• Support audits, strengthen accounting controls, and partner with operations on key accounting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred or progress toward CPA
• 4-7 years of accounting experience with strong month-end close, GL, and financial reporting expertise
• Experience within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences or related industries
• ERP system experience required; SAP experience strongly preferred
