Compensation: $35-45/hour 

 

Corporate Accounting team is seeking a temporary accounting professional to support the monthly financial close and reporting process. This position will assist with preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, analyzing financial results and variances, and completing other close-related schedules and reporting. The associate will also help research accounting activity, resolve discrepancies, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies and U.S. GAAP.

While the position will provide flexible support across Corporate Accounting, the primary focus will be supporting Global Markets. Responsibilities will include reviewing international subsidiary financial activity and month end close submissions, assisting with trial balance reviews and account mapping, supporting intercompany reconciliations, and preparing related financial analyses and reports. The associate will collaborate with Corporate Accounting and regional finance teams to support an accurate and timely close.

 Skills/Experience:

 

 The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant general accounting experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A CPA is highly preferred. Experience working with SAP, Oracle Hyperion, or another large ERP or financial reporting system is also preferred.
