Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain general ledger integrity.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
Support audits, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct responsibility for month-end close activities.
Experience processing payroll and strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
