Reporting to the Regional Controller , you will lead critical month end and year end close activities, support financial reporting and analysis, and help drive process improvements across the accounting function. Our team operates with curiosity, humility, accountability and entrepreneurial spirit to deliver on our vision and mission.What You Will Do:Month-End & Year-End CloseOwn and drive the full month-end close process, ensuring completion within established timelinesPrepare, review, and post complex journal entries including accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and reclassificationsRecord and maintain fixed asset entries, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedulesPerform and review balance sheet account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variancesPrepare monthly cash flow statements and forecasts; monitor net working capital trendsGeneral Ledger & Transactional AccountingMaintain the integrity of the general ledger; research and resolve discrepanciesPerform cash and bank reconciliations; support AP and AR functions as neededReconcile and report intercompany receivables and payablesPrepare quarterly and annual tax filings and returns (e.g., Ohio CAT and other applicable state/local filings)Financial Reporting, Analytics, Compliance & Special ProjectsResearch and analyze budget-to-actual variances; prepare executive-level results summaries and financial commentary for senior leadershipSupport the external audit process; prepare requested schedules, reconciliations, and documentationLead or support process improvement initiatives within the accounting departmentSupport leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as neededWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred3 plus years of progressive accounting experience; Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm experience strongly preferredDeep understanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesExperience supporting internal and external financial audits; solid understanding of cash flow and networking capitalDemonstrated experience owning month-end close and preparing complex journal entries independentlyAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data modeling; strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Proficiency with ERP/general ledger accounting software (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement; ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple geographiesWhy Join Us?At CSafe, we foster an exciting, collaborative, and inclusive work environment that promotes both personal and professional growth.
