Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting the organization's financial operations. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing month-end and year-end closing processes, analyzing financial data, and assisting with audits.Key ResponsibilitiePrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage general ledger activities and account reconciliationsOversee month-end and year-end closing processesEnsure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirementsAnalyze financial data and provide recommendations to managementPrepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting recordsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesCoordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentationMonitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processesSupport tax preparation and compliance activitiesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyMentor and guide junior accounting staffRequired QualificatioBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fiel3–7+ years of accounting experience (depending on organization sizeStrong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standardProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuitePublic accounting a plAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitieStrong communication and interpersonal skill#J-18808-Ljbffr
