Imprimis Group has partnered with a growing privately held family office in Plano to identify an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records across a diverse portfolio of companies while helping strengthen accounting processes as the organization continues to grow. What You'll Do
As the Senior Accountant, you'll oversee day-to-day accounting functions across multiple entities and partner closely with leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple business entities
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
• Process and oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis
• Monitor budget-to-actual performance and identify reporting variances
• Support annual tax preparation, audits, and outside CPA relationships
• Maintain fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and supporting documentation
• Review contracts, leases, and financing agreements for accounting implications
• Administer QuickBooks Online and maintain organized financial records
• Help improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and month-end processes
• Provide guidance and support to an Accounting Assistant
• Partner with the CFO on special projects and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong General Ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or active CPA candidate
• Family office or closely held business experience
• Experience in real estate, construction, logistics, hospitality, or nonprofit accounting
• Exposure to treasury or bill-pay platforms
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to improve accounting efficiency
