Edison, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote)Kelly Services is partnering with a well-established global manufacturing company to hire a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning key accounting processes from month-end close through financial reporting.If you're a hands-on accounting professional with strong GAAP knowledge, manufacturing experience, and a passion for process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoLead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsPrepare journal entries, financial reports, and account analysesManage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure trackingSupport customer rebate and promotional program accountingPerform bank reconciliations and cash management activitiesAssist with inventory and cost accounting processesReview and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activitiesReview work prepared by accounting staff and provide guidance when neededSupport internal and external auditsEnsure compliance with GAAP and company policiesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controlsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting5–7+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accountingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferredExperience with Power BI is a plusCPA or CPA candidate preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExperience reviewing or supervising accounting staff is preferredOffice products or manufacturing industry experience is a plusAbility to travel up to 10%Hybrid schedule (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)Competitive salary of $85,000–$100,000Life Insurance, Short & Long-Term Disability, and AD&D401(k) with Company MatchProfit SharingPaid HolidaysWeekly PayCollaborative team-oriented cultureIf you're looking for an opportunity to make an impact with a growing organization while advancing your accounting career, we want to hear from you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
