Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage and oversee key areas of the general ledger and month-end close process
• 
  
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports
• 
  
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances and discrepancies
• 
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• 
  
• Partner with operations and other departments to improve financial processes and reporting
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures, strengthen internal controls, and improve efficiency
• 
  
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and cost accounting activities as needed
• 
  
• Assist with annual audits, tax reporting, and other external financial requirements
• 
  
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support business decision-making
• 
  
• Take ownership of accounting projects and process improvements
• 
  
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
• 
  
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as needed
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 
  
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• 
  
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience strongly preferred
• 
  
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems
• 
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines
• 
  
• Self-starter with a continuous-improvement mindset
• 
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
•
