We're seeking a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to support month‑end close, financial reporting, and analyses. This role partners closely with the accounting team and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial results, maintain strong internal controls, and drive continuous improvement across accounting processes. The position is integral to the month‑end close process, financial reporting, and ad‑hoc analyses.What You'll Do:Timely completion of month‑end close tasks, including preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and accurate financial reportingPrepare and review complex balance sheet account reconciliations, including supporting schedules, investigation, and resolution of reconciling itemsPerform financial analysis to evaluate performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvementPartner with other business units to support accurate financial reporting and resolve accounting issuesManage large volumes of financial data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailSupport system implementations, upgrades, and process changes, including data validationEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirementsAdapt to changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentPerform other duties and ad‑hoc analyses, as assignedWhat We're Looking For:2+ years of public accounting or 4 years of general accounting experienceStrong analytical skills and intermediate to advanced Excel proficiencyExperience with systems (e.g., NetSuite, Great Plains, SalesForce)High attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of financial data accuratelyProcess‑oriented mindset with an understanding of downstream impactsStrong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and resolve complex issuesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesEffective communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationshipsA self‑motivated, continuous improvement mindset, accountability, and a can‑do attitudeCommitment to delivering high‑quality customer serviceFlorida residents require level 2 background screening through range discussed further in the hiring process.Why Fusion?Because at Fusion, every role plays a part in changing students' lives.
