Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and operational accounting. Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting analyses.
• 
  
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and other adjusting entries.
• 
  
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• 
  
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• 
  
• Track and reconcile fixed assets, depreciation, leases, and debt-related accounts.
• 
  
• Support treasury activities, including cash reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
• 
  
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to support business decisions.
• 
  
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
• 
  
• Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• 
  
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 
  
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• 
  
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• 
  
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
• 
  
• Experience with ERP systems; exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.
• 
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
