Position Type:

- Remote (Work from home PST Zone)
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Advanced understanding of GAAP accounting
- 3-5 years of experience with general ledger, month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
- Experience with EPM software
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
Preferences:
- Oracle Fusion experience
- Timeshare experience
- Master's degree or CPA
- 3 years in the timeshare or travel hospitality industry
Responsibilities:
- Compile financial information for accurate financial statement preparation
- Post journal entries and handle payables, bank reconciliations, and billing reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries for the general ledger
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Facilitate wire transfers for club transactions
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of corporate related party receivables and payables
- Assist in financial statement preparation and reporting package
- Support financial audits and annual budget preparation
- Monitor banking activity for fund availability
- Drive departmental goals and process improvements
- Support events and peer development in the timeshare industry
- Contribute to the development of junior accountants
