Senior Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

A well-established Commercial Real Estate company headquartered outside of Dulles Airport in VA is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to handle all accounting for multiple related entities. The Senior Accountant reports directly to the CFO and Chairman.

Responsibilities

• All accounting functions for 25 separate real estate entities
• Rent payment processing
• Cash and investment reporting
• Bank reconciliations and account monitoring with positive pay
• Invoice processing and accounts payable through Sage 100
• Time sheet processing, payroll processing, and payroll tax filings
• Journal entries and financial reporting through Sage 100
• GL accountant reconciliations between related entities
• Inter-company invoices and reconciliations
• Quarterly tax projections

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance highly preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll, taxes, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range $80,000 – $100,000 depending on experience. Competitive benefits including medical, dental, and paid time off. This position requires being in the office at least 4 days per week.
