    About FINNess Advisors:

    FINNess Advisors is an all-women outsourced accounting and finance firm specializing in consumer products, investor-ready financials, and GAAP-compliant reporting. We partner with fast-growing consumer brands to deliver clarity, insight, and scalability through expert financial management.

    Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant (remote, US based) to join our dynamic team.

    This role will support multiple client engagements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth month-end closes, and best-in-class accounting operations tailored to the consumer goods industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support day-to-day accounting operations for multiple consumer goods clients across various growth stages.
    • Lead and manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
    • Review and maintain GAAP-compliant financials in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.
    • Oversee and optimize inventory accounting, including COGS, landed costs, and inventory reconciliations, leveraging systems such as Cin7 or similar platforms.
    • Ensure accuracy in sales channel reporting (Amazon, Shopify, wholesale, DTC).
    • Assist in building and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Coordinate with clients operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
    • Support external audits, tax filings, and due diligence efforts as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
    • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the consumer goods, CPG, or retail/e-commerce sectors.
    • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online. 
    • 2+ years of NetSuite experience.
    • Solid understanding of GAAP, inventory costing, and multi-channel sales accounting.
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
    • Experience with inventory management systems such as Cin7, DEAR, or NetSuite Inventory.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client priorities.
    • Prior experience in an outsourced accounting or client-facing environment strongly preferred.
