Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant



  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules while owning key areas of the month-end close process as the Senior Accountant

  • Analyze balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations, revenue, commissions, and financial transactions to ensure reporting accuracy as the Senior Accountant

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting while maintaining compliance with GAAP as the Senior Accountant

  • Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting issues, improve processes, and strengthen internal controls as the Senior Accountant

  • Assist with audit support, Workday optimization, automation initiatives, and special projects as the Senior Accountant



Qualifications for the Senior Accountant



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with strong month-end close and reconciliation experience

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience participating in process improvement, automation, or system enhancement initiatives
