Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• 
  
• Manage and maintain fixed asset accounting records.
• 
  
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• 
  
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
• 
  
• Assist with financial reporting and account analysis.
• 
  
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 
  
• Strong accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP.
• 
  
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• 
  
• Fixed assets accounting experience required.
• 
  
• Background in agriculture and/or manufacturing environments preferred.

• Progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
