LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Senior Accountant for our client in Orlando, FL. This is a primarily remote (one day in Orlando office once a month) position. Client is open to contract to hire or direct hire.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will manage the full accounting cycle ensuring compliance with financial regulations and handling various accounting tasks such as financial statements, budgeting, tax remittances, reconciliations, and revenue accounting. They will also collaborate with different departments to optimize financial planning and implement AI-powered tools for workflow automation.
Experience
3+ years of full cycle GAAP accounting experience required; hospitality industry experience also required (Marriott or Hyatt strongly preferred)
Familiarity with Florida sales tax requirements
Skills/Knowledge
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (including Excel-VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and Opera accounting software knowledge required
Strong interest or experience in implementing AI tools for accounting automation
Great multi-tasker, highly detail-oriented and deadline driven
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
