A bit about us:We are a long-established industrial distributor of gases and welding supplies serving manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and food and beverage customers across the Upper Midwest. We are part of a private equity-backed national network of independent distributors that is actively acquiring and growing. Our accounting team runs a disciplined 5-day close with consolidated reporting to our parent. As our network expands, we are bringing recently acquired sister companies up to that same standard.
Why join us?- Ownership from day one: Own the full close for a growing sister company, with direct visibility to senior finance leadership.
- Build, not just maintain: Put the fundamentals in place, including monthly balance sheet recs, clean journal entries, and strong support, and see the impact month over month.
- Open-door leadership: A manager who is accessible and supportive, with month-end checkpoints and training in place, without micromanaging.
- Growth platform: Our parent continues to acquire, which creates more complexity, more exposure, and more room to grow.
- Teach and lead: Coach the sister company’s operational team on reconciliations and best practices.
- Sustainable pace: Close periods run longer, but this is not public accounting. Flexible start times with staggered schedules.
