Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role will support various areas of the accounting function, including month-end close, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives within a fast paced technology environment. The position reports to Accounting leadership and offers strong exposure across the organization.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules and reconciliationsAssist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including balance sheet and P&L analysisPerform account reconciliations and investigate variances as neededSupport preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packagesAssist with revenue, accruals, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other general accounting activitiesEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX requirementsSupport internal and external audit requests and prepare audit support documentationAssist with process improvements, automation efforts, and system enhancementsCollaborate cross functionally with finance and operational teams on ad hoc projects and initiativesPerform additional accounting and finance duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firm) and/or experience within a public technology company preferredStrong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principlesExperience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processesProficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or WorkdayStrong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skillsEffective communication and collaboration skills across departmentsSelf-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
