Our client is a privately held real estate investment and management firm seeking a Senior Accountant to support its growing portfolio of multifamily, commercial, student housing, and self-storage properties. This is a great opportunity to join an active owner-operator involved in both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. The right candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and hands‑on — comfortable reviewing financials from third‑party management companies and preparing internal statements for owned assets.ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets.Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements (GAAP).Reconcile general ledger accounts, journal entries, and bank statements.Review and consolidate financial packages from third‑party property managers.Support audits, lender compliance, and budgeting.Track capital projects, reserves, and loan escrows.Identify process improvements to streamline reporting and systems integration.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.4–6 years of experience, including at least 2 years in real estate accounting.Strong understanding of GAAP and property-level financials.Experience with Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio preferred.Advanced Excel skills.CPA or pursuing CPA a plus.BenefitsAnnual performance bonus.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with match and generous PTO#J-18808-Ljbffr
