Senior Accountant
Take ownership of a growing companys accounting operations while working directly with executive leadership and helping shape smarter financial decisions.
SALARY: $95,000 to $100,000 annually
LOCATION: Tigard, OR
SCHEDULE: Full-time, Evaluation to Hire, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

WHAT YOULL DO:
Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and cash management.
Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements for leadership and the companys outside CPA.
Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, job costing, margin analysis, and manufacturing-related transactions.
Monitor financial performance and cash flow, identify trends and risks, and provide practical recommendations to leadership.
Develop internal controls, improve accounting processes, support audits, and provide oversight to accounting support staff.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of senior-level accounting experience, including ownership of close processes and financial statement preparation.
Experience supervising, mentoring, or providing oversight to accounting employees.
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, along with experience using an MRP or ERP system.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting; manufacturing, inventory, or cost-accounting experience is strongly preferred.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and requires regular use of a computer and standard office equipment. The role may involve extended periods of sitting, standing, reviewing financial information, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
