Senior Accountant

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 8-5

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in West Chester, Ohio that’s expanding its Shared Services team. 

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in our office. As a Sr. Accountant, your finger will be on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will be responsible for recording general ledger journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, process improvements, and various analyses of financial statements.

Essential Functions
•Assist with the month-end close process for multiple companies.
•Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
•Present financial results to the leadership team.
•Calculate monthly commissions for sales team.
•Bank reconciliations.
•Sales and use tax compliance.
•Research sales tax rules and advise parties as needed.
•Fixed asset and depreciation activities.
•Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts as needed.
•Participate in the preparation for the annual audit.
•Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
•Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and productivity.
•Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
•Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies.
•Accept and perform additional job duties, assignments, or projects as directed by your immediate Supervisor or management for the betterment of the Company.
•Uphold the Company's Core Principles of TEAM (Trust, Empowerment, Accountability, Mesh) in daily practices.
•Maintains regular, punctual attendance and attends required meetings and/or training.
•Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
•4+ years of accounting experience.

Physical Requirements
•Demanding, fast-paced work environment.
•Full-time position. Generally, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime as necessary, including nights and/or weekends.
•Inside average office environment with average noise levels.
•Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at workstation.
•Low physical effort-average lift less than 10lbs. And maximum unassisted lift up to 35lbs.
