Location: Dallas and Hybrid (3 days in office)Pays: 160K-165K+BonusPosition OverviewWe are looking to fill a Senior Accounting Manager with a large service company based in Dallas, the ideal candidate must enjoy transformation and putting process and procedures in place. This role plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily accounting operations and the month-end close. This position partners closely with finance and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting across the general ledger and project accounting, while strengthening internal controls and scalable processes as the company grows. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting leader with strong GAAP expertise, ERP experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee accounting team performance, workload, and developmentPromote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and process excellenceKey ResponsibilitiesOversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reportingOwn and manage the month‑end close process, including review of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and cutoff proceduresMaintain integrity of the general ledger, including assets, liabilities, revenues, expenses, and inventoryPartner with operations to reconcile physical inventory, validate inventory adjustments, analyze material flows, and ensure accurate cost of goods soldSupport internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and coordination with auditorsProvide leadership, coaching, and development for accounting staffServe as a financial and accounting resource for operations and cross‑functional teamsReview financial statements and underlying data for completeness, accuracy, and GAAP complianceEnsure strong internal controls and adherence to company policies and compliance requirementsIdentify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation opportunitiesAssist the Senior Director of Accounting and VP of Finance with technical accounting matters, special projects, and researchPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & AbilitiesExperience with ERP/MRP systems required (JDE preferred)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong MS Office skillsDeep knowledge of GAAP and month‑end close best practicesProven ability to evaluate, improve, and scale accounting processesStrong attention to detail with the ability to clearly accounting concepts to non‑finance stakeholdersEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; MBA preferred7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in distribution, project‑based, or retail environmentsActive CPA is highly preferredIf you are interested in this job or other Accounting and Finance career opportunities from LHH please email Rami Muhanna at rami.muhanna@lhh.com or visit our website at www.lhh.com.#J-18808-Ljbffr
