Senior Accounting Manager

OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead technical accounting initiatives, oversee core accounting operations, and drive continuous process improvements. This role is well-suited for a hands-on accounting leader with experience supporting Manufacturing and SaaS business models in a dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesLead technical accounting analysis and application of U.S. GAAP, including areas such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory costing, capitalization, leases, and complex or non‑routine transactionsOversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processesManage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, review, and development supportPartner with FP&A, operations, and business leaders to ensure accurate accounting treatment for manufacturing operations and SaaS revenue streamsDrive process improvement initiatives to enhance close efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and improve scalabilityOwn accounting policies and procedures, ensuring documentation remains current as the business evolvesSupport internal and external audits, acting as a key point of contact for auditorsAssist with preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosuresQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferred7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadershipStrong technical accounting expertise under U.S. GAAPPrior experience in Manufacturing and/or SaaS environments strongly preferredProven success leading process improvement or transformation initiativesAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systemsWhat Our Client OffersA visible leadership role with influence over accounting strategy and operationsThe opportunity to modernize accounting processes in a growing, complex organizationHybrid work flexibility based in Dublin, OHCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsA collaborative culture that values accountability, development, and continuous improvement#J-18808-Ljbffr
