Senior Manager / Controller

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Salary: $115,000 – $135,000
Bonus: 10% annually

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager / Controller to join its growing finance team. This position will play a key leadership role in managing the accounting function while supporting a global organization experiencing significant growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and contributing to the financial operations of a fast-growing company. Key Responsibilities


  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team

  • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Ensure financial reporting is completed and distributed on schedule

  • Supervise a team of five direct reports

  • Support accounting operations within a global organizational structure

  • Maintain strong internal controls and drive continuous process improvements



Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of accounting experience

  • Prior people management experience

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and month-end close processes



Preferred Qualifications


  • CPA designation

  • Experience working within a global organization

  • Capital expenditure (CapEx) experience

  • SAP experience
