We go beyond typical data‑driven approaches or pure transformer‑only architectures, combining rigorous engineering with learning systems proven in globally deployed solutions that deliver results today and get better every time our robots run in the field.FieldAI is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to scale the accounting and operational foundation of the company as we continue growing.This is a hands‑on builder role focused on:owning core accounting operationsimproving close quality and scalabilityleading complex revenue recognition workbuilding scalable processes and controlshelping operationalize finance infrastructure in a fast‑moving startup environmentYou'll partner closely with GTM, hardware, operations, and finance teams while helping support both software and hardware revenue streams.This role reports to the Controller and operates with high ownership and autonomy.What You'll DoRevenue Recognition & Technical AccountingServe as a key internal resource on ASC 606 and revenue recognition mattersReview and analyze customer contracts across software, hardware, and services arrangementsPrepare technical accounting memos and SSP analysesMaintain and improve revenue recognition policies and NetSuite ARM workflowsPartner with GTM teams on accounting implications of deal structuresClose & ReportingOwn and improve the monthly close process across global entitiesPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, accruals, deferred revenue, and intercompany accountingImprove close quality, controls, and operational scalabilitySupport audits and external reporting requirementsSystems & Process ImprovementIdentify operational gaps and build scalable accounting processesImprove workflows, automation, and accounting systemsPartner cross‑functionally across Finance, Operations, GTM, Legal, IT, and Hardware teamsHelp build scalable documentation, SOPs, and finance infrastructureTeam & PartnershipMentor junior accounting team membersPartner with hardware and operations teams on inventory accountingSupport broader finance scaling initiatives across the organizationWhat You Bring5-10+ years of progressive accounting experienceCPA license (active or inactive)Strong hands‑on ASC 606 and technical accounting experienceExperience reviewing contracts and documenting accounting conclusionsStrong understanding of the full close cycleExperience building or improving accounting processes in evolving environmentsStrong operational rigor, communication skills, and attention to detailAbility to operate independently in fast‑moving startup environmentsOwnership mentality with strong execution and problem‑solving instinctsWhat Sets You ApartExperience at Series A–C or high‑growth startupsExperience supporting software + hardware revenue modelsFamiliarity with NetSuite ARM and modern finance toolingMulti‑entity or global accounting experienceExperience building accounting infrastructure from early‑stage processesBackground in robotics, AI, autonomy, industrial, or deep‑tech environments$160,000 - $195,000 a yearOur salary range is generous and we consider each individual's background and experience when determining final compensation.
