SR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Salary: 85K – 95K

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounting Specialist:

Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end and year-end close activities
Process AP invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies
Support revenue recognition, lease accounting, and fixed asset accounting activities
Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance-related documentation
Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Specialist:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or private industry
Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards
Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and advanced Excel functions
