New Hire Experience compensation:

1% of hourly rate for a college degree in a similar field, combined with work experience credit not to exceed the maximum hiring range of 5%.

JOB TITLE: SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK

CALENDAR: 2082PT (9 MONTH)

GRADE 107 (SUPPORT HOURLY)

Job Goal:

Perform a variety of clerical services, following standardized procedures, in an assigned area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, including courses in business-related subjects
  • Some previous clerical experience preferred
  • Ability to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed
  • Proficiency in computer skills and applications as related to this position
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Flexibility to work in assigned areas and possess the required knowledge and skills
  • of and adherence to district policies and procedures affecting assigned work

Core Job Functions:

  • Perform a wide variety of clerical tasks, including typing, filing, coding, and preparing reports
  • Maintain a variety of records and files
  • Input data into the computer
  • Receive inquiries by telephone or in person and give out appropriate information
  • Relieve other absent staff members
  • Maintain the confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed
  • Be flexible and perform other duties relating to the general job function as assigned by the supervisor
  • Accept responsibility for students'' well-being and safety while they are in the employee''s care
  • Operating and caring for school districts'' equipment properly
  • Follow district policies as outlined
