Job Summary
Sweet Briar College is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Senior Admissions Counselor to join the Department of Enrollment Management. This position plays a key role in recruiting, engaging, and enrolling prospective students while managing an assigned recruitment territory and student portfolio from initial inquiry through enrollment.
The Senior Admissions Counselor is expected to bring demonstrated experience in college admissions, strong relationship-building and consultative recruitment skills, sound judgment, and a data-informed approach to territory and pipeline management. In addition to carrying an individual recruitment portfolio, this role will serve as an experienced resource to colleagues, contribute to counselor training and best-practice sharing, and help strengthen the overall effectiveness of the Admissions team.
Position Type / Expected Work Hours
This is a full-time, onsite position, Monday through Friday, with regular flexibility required for recruitment travel, campus programs, evening and weekend events, and other enrollment activities. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Regular seasonal travel is required for assigned recruitment territories, college fairs, school visits, outreach programs, and professional development. Overnight and occasional weekend travel should be expected during peak recruitment periods.

Salary Range
