Senior AI Engineer, Studio

About the Role

Join an AI-focused venture studio as a senior engineer building products from validated concepts through launch and product-market fit. You will own end-to-end AI systems that reach real users, while helping create reusable engineering patterns for future ventures.

What You'll Do

• Build production agentic AI systems, including agents, retrieval, orchestration, and integrations with external tools.
• Take early products from scoping to launch, focusing on the smallest version that demonstrates value before hardening it for production.
• Operate and improve systems after launch, responding to real-world failures and user needs.
• Develop reusable components, evaluation practices, and engineering patterns across different venture contexts.
• Partner with product strategists, customers, and design partners to shape product direction and delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Three to seven years of experience building and operating end-to-end AI systems in production.
• Experience with Python, LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, retrieval systems, model serving, evaluation and regression suites, CI/CD, and observability.
• Evidence of owning a 0-to-1 product or tool that shipped to users, such as a startup, side project, or internal product.
• Product or commercial ownership in addition to research or model-building experience, with a track record of presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
• Engineering experience at a leading quantitative finance firm, major technology company, or AI-native startup, alongside entrepreneurial or early-stage product work.
• A STEM degree and strong fundamentals in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $190,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
