The Hyatt Shared Service is seeking is a Senior Analyst- Finance Evolution. This position will help modernize how Finance work gets done across Hyatt. The Senior Analyst, Finance Evolution partners with Finance colleagues and technology teams to understand processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver practical automation and data solutions. This work reduces repetitive effort and helps colleagues focus on analysis that supports business insight, cost efficiency, and hotel-level profitability.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance stakeholders to map processes, gather requirements, and translate business needs into clear solution designs.
• Analyze and redesign workflows; identify automation opportunities and recommend practical ways to simplify Finance work.
• Develop, configure, deploy, and support solutions such as automated workflows, dashboards, scorecards, and data transformations.
• Coordinate with Financial Systems, Data & Analytics, ServiceNow, and other technology teams to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Plan project work, estimate effort and resource needs, facilitate design sessions, and communicate progress and risks.
• Coordinate change management, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and production releases with business and technology partners.
• Monitor production solution health, respond to incidents, resolve issues, and improve solutions based on feedback and results.
• Create user guidance and training, support adoption, and share effective practices and solution knowledge across global teams.
• Stay current on relevant tools and approaches and recommend process improvements that can reduce effort or cost.
• Encourage adoption of improved processes and tools and help colleagues adapt to changes in how Finance work is performed.

Qualifications

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in business process analysis, process redesign, automation, or a related field.

• Experience gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and translating business needs into workable solutions.

• Experience delivering or supporting process improvement or automation initiatives, including testing, rollout, and ongoing support.

• Ability to collaborate with Finance stakeholders and technology teams to plan and deliver cross-functional work.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain changes, train users, and support adoption.

• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and work with limited supervision.

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.

• Hospitality, shared services, or multi-entity finance experience preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Master's degree a plus

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

• MS Office

• Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms (Alteryx Designer or Server preferred)

• Experience with enterprise analytics and data visualization tools (e.g. ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or Power BI preferred)

• Experience with modern data cloud platforms and data warehousing technologies (e.g. Snowflake)

• Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages is an advantage.

• Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion)

Additional Comments and Requirements

• Proactive and well organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines while managing competing priorities.

• Adaptable and comfortable working with limited supervision and changing priorities.

• Ability to support process change through stakeholder partnership, user training, and continued attention to adoption and compliance.

• Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required.

• To work remotely, you must be able to adhere to our IT requirements, including, but not limited to the following: High Speed Internet service required. Broadband technologies allowed are DSL, Cable, and Fiber-Optic. All other ISP (Internet Service Provider) technologies are not allowed, including cellular based services. Colleagues will be required to provide Hyatt with adequate certification of service from provider (upon request)
