    Description

    We are seeking a Senior Application Engineering Manager to lead an engineering team supporting key consumer electronics customers. This role focuses on developing innovative adhesives, films, and application processes, while driving technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor an engineering team supporting major customer accounts.

    • Drive development of new adhesive materials and application processes.

    • Manage engineering labs, workflows, prioritization, and reporting.

    • Own CapEx and continuously improve lab capabilities.

    • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and customer specifications.

    • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering.

    • 10+ years of experience with adhesives, films, or tapes used in consumer electronics.

    • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams (5+ direct reports).

    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Ability to lead complex projects and adapt to changing customer needs.

    • Familiarity with FEA, flow modeling, CAD, and lab automation technologies.
