Senior Associate, Accounting

Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Compliance•* Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.•* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SEC filings (if applicable).•* Lead the coordination of external audits and manage relationships with auditors.Accounting Operations•* Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.•* Implement and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.•* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.Leadership & Team Development•* Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals across multiple functions.•* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.•* Support succession planning and talent development within the finance organization.Strategic Financial Support•* Partner with FP&A, tax, treasury, and other departments to support strategic initiatives.•* Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making.•* Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Systems & Technology•* Oversee financial systems and ensure data integrity and automation.•* Lead or support ERP implementations and upgrades.Qualifications:•* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required; MBA preferred).•* 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or controllership roles.•* Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.•* Experience managing audits and regulatory filings.•* Proven leadership and team management skills.•* Excellent communication and analytical abilities.Skills:•* Financial reporting and compliance •* Accounting operations and controls •* Team leadership and development •* Strategic financial analysis •* ERP and financial systems management •* Cross-functional collaboration$101,000 - $123,000
