This position supports client engagements through research, data analysis, financial modeling and strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects, communicate effectively and demonstrate a strong commitment to professional standards and continuous learning. The role also offers opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration and professional growth within the Firm.

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $88,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with supervisors to support clients across a range of financial and operational analyses and consulting projects.
  • Support, and, as experience permits, lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence and quality of earnings engagements.
  • Coordinate with internal engagement teams to collect relevant data and documentation and support the delivery of final reports, analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports describing project methodologies, findings, insights and strategic recommendations, supported by appropriate research and analysis.
  • Identify trends, inconsistencies, risks and opportunities within client financial information.
  • Analyze revenue, gross margins, EBITDA, working capital, net debt and debt-like items, cash flow, customer and vendor concentration, accounts receivable, inventory, backlog and WIP.
  • Prepare detailed due diligence workbooks, EBITDA bridges, working capital analyses, cash-proof schedules, analytical exhibits, executive summaries and client-ready reports.
  • Reconcile financial information from general ledgers, financial statements, tax returns, bank records and operational reports.
  • Manage multiple consulting engagements concurrently, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Support business valuation engagements, including financial analysis, forecast development, discounted cash flow analyses, market and transaction comparables, valuation workbooks and valuation report preparation.
  • Assist with estate and wealth-transfer advisory engagements, including 10-year cash flow and net worth projections, liquidity analyses, estate tax scenarios, ownership and entity analyses and valuation support.
  • Build, maintain and update financial models including transaction models, forecasts and budgets to support client and internal decision-making.
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts by conducting analyses and developing informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with tax, audit, valuation, estate planning and other internal teams to develop integrated client solutions.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and client confidentiality in all engagements.
  • Conduct research on accounting, tax, industry and business matters as needed.
  • Demonstrate initiative in expanding tax and financial knowledge through research and continuous learning.
  • Develop proficiency in Firm policies, procedures and available technical resources.
  • Pursue opportunities to collaborate with other departments within the Firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, data analytics, finance or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a specific degree concentration.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, quality of earnings, M&A advisory, business valuation, investment banking, corporate finance, audit and assurance, or a related field. Experience preparing due diligence workbooks, valuation analyses or client-ready advisory reports is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to apply accounting and financial concepts.
