Job Responsibilities
- Lead financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through wrap-up.
- Prepare and review audit workpapers and financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and field-review the work of staff accountants on engagements.
- Identify operational risks and internal control improvements, collaborating directly with managers and partners to deliver client insights.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with privately held businesses, family-owned companies, and local nonprofits.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of public accounting audit or assurance experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience executing external audit procedures and compiling financial statements.
- Strong baseline understanding of audit methodology, risk assessment, and deadline management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active CPA license or active progress toward completing the CPA exam.
- Experience supervising staff or leading small engagement teams in the field.
- Familiarity navigating various client accounting systems (such as QuickBooks Online) to extract and analyze financial data.
