Employment Type: Full-Time, ExperiencedDepartment: FinancialCGS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to provide general auditing and accounting services in support of fraud investigations involving potentially complex financial transactions and complex organizations attempting to evade detection. The ideal candidate will develop, coordinate, and draft technical audit guidelines, is proficient in a variety of accounting systems, and practices excellent cross-functional communication throughout investigations.Skills and Attributes for SuccessManagement experience helpful; experience in litigation environment, experience working with automated litigation support helpfulConduct financial analysis by reviewing bank records, wire transfers, ledgers, and other financial documentationConduct open-source intelligence and database research on individuals, business entities, and assetsAnalyze large and complex healthcare claims datasets to identify fraud, waste, and abuse patternsDesign and run SQL queries, models, and data algorithms to detect anomalous billing trends and patternsExtract and manipulate federal health claims data using CMS tools such as OnePI, STARS, Business Objects, and other related platformsPrepare analytical summaries, memoranda, charts, and data visualizations to support case development and litigationSummarize transaction histories and flag suspicious activities for follow-upEvaluate allegations of fraud and provide recommendations to assistant client attorneys for determinationBased on fraud data, assist with development of investigative plans including identifying areas of investigative focusWork collaboratively with attorneys and investigators to refine leads and develop investigative strategiesDeliver oral briefings and written reports to assistant client attorneys on findings from healthcare data analyticsSupport development of internal best practices and workflows for healthcare fraud detectionRequired SkillsUndergraduate degree minimum, CPA/MBA equivalentMust be a Certified Public AccountantMBA or equivalent in accounting or directly related fieldThorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standardsMinimum of five years' experience as an auditor; minimum three years specialized experience in the specific subject matter area involved - for example, Medicare billing and claims systems, or DoD inventory systemsExtensive working knowledge of appropriate accounting and financial analysis ADP systems and applicationsExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be a United States citizenMust be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearanceBenefitsHealth, Dental, and VisionLife Insurance401kFlexible Spending Account (Health, Dependent Care, and Commuter)Paid Time Off and Observance of State/Federal HolidaysContact Government Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
