Job Description
Kforce's client, a leading global organization in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its growing audit team. This highly visible hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead risk-based audits, partner with business leaders across multiple functions, and contribute to strengthening operational and financial controls throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong internal audit experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships across a complex global environment. Approximately 30% travel, primarily domestic travel within the United States, with occasional international travel. Client offers compensation, benefits and work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead internal audit engagements from planning through reporting
- Conduct interviews, review documentation, and evaluate internal controls
- Perform audit testing, analyze processes, and identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Prepare audit workpapers and draft clear, concise audit reports
- Lead audit opening and closing meetings with management and key stakeholders
- Monitor audit progress and communicate project status updates
- Present audit findings and recommendations to leadership
- Support risk assessments and annual audit planning activities
- Build strong relationships across business functions and global teams
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- CPA, CIA, CISA, CA, or similar professional certification preferred or in progress
- 3+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation; Internal Audit experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and internal controls
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with HighBond or similar audit management tools is a plus
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills are preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
