    Description

    Description

We're looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to champion quality for our cloud‑native applications. You'll be embedded on an Agile/Scrum team, partnering closely with engineers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality is built into every stage of development.

This role goes beyond test execution-you'll help shape quality strategy, evolve QA practices, and take ownership of test automation that supports fast, reliable delivery.

    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do

    • Champion quality across the development lifecycle
    • Evaluate existing QA processes and evolve them incrementally with stakeholder feedback
    • Lead the design and architecture of automated test frameworks and artifacts
    • Own and integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines
    • Align with organization-wide QA guidance while adapting it to application needs
    • Recommend and help drive new QA initiatives
    • Define and track meaningful quality metrics
    • Create and maintain QA documentation
    • Build strong domain knowledge of the applications you support
    • Collaborate across disciplines to assess risk and balance quality with delivery

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Agile/Scrum development environments
    • Test automation and CI/CD pipelines
    • Cloud-based systems
    • Security testing concepts
    • Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and communication skills

    Nice to Have

    • Observability and monitoring
    • DevOps practices
    • Accessibility testing
    • Load, performance, and stress testing

    Why Join Us?

    • Work on products that impact public sector communities
    • Collaborate with a team that values shared ownership of quality
    • Influence how quality is built, not just tested
    • Flexible environment that supports learning and work-life balance

We believe great software comes from strong collaboration, thoughtful automation, and shared responsibility for quality. If you enjoy improving systems, processes, and outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
