Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to provide technical leadership, application development, integration, and consulting services to Managed Services clients. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines strong programming skills, solution architecture, troubleshooting, and technical consulting.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting modern platform solutions. This includes application development, system integrations, platform extensions, APIs, reporting, automation, and business process improvements.
This individual will work directly with customers to understand their business needs, recommend technical solutions, and lead projects from initial planning through implementation and ongoing support. The role also involves resolving complex technical issues, improving existing applications, and helping customers adopt new technologies.
Strong communication skills, technical leadership, and the ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment are essential.
 
Key Responsibilities
Technical Consulting & Solution Design

• Serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor for Managed Services clients.
• Work directly with customers to understand business requirements, technical challenges, and project objectives.
• Design and recommend solutions that align with customer needs and industry best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, business process reviews, and solution planning sessions.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and application prototypes to demonstrate proposed solutions.
• Provide technical guidance throughout solution design, development, testing, and implementation.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications, integrations, interfaces, and platform extensions.
• Build and support custom APIs, reports, automation processes, and application functionality.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, GraphQL, Serverless APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Implement platform capabilities involving extensibility, experience solutions, data connectivity, intelligent processes, and forms.
• Create custom solutions that address business requirements beyond standard application functionality.
• Follow development standards and upgrade-safe practices when building platform extensions.
• Test, debug, and optimize applications and integrations to ensure performance and reliability.

• Provide advanced technical support for applications, integrations, and platform services.
• Investigate complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
• Handle software troubleshooting, break/fix support, and application enhancements.
• Support customers with platform configuration, integration issues, and system functionality.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and clear communication.

• Lead technical activities throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Assist with project planning, technical estimates, and implementation timelines.
• Prepare technical documentation covering system requirements, specifications, integrations, APIs, interfaces, and custom applications.
• Develop installation guides, operational procedures, and support documentation.
• Review technical deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Support modernization initiatives and help customers adopt new platform capabilities.

• Provide technical direction and guidance to junior consultants and development team members.
• Review code, solution designs, and technical documentation.
• Share development best practices and promote consistent technical standards.
• Mentor and train less experienced consultants.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, project teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Strong experience in technical consulting, application development, systems integration, or related technical roles.
• Advanced programming and software development skills across multiple application tiers.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, or serverless solutions.
• Knowledge of application extensibility, system integration, data connectivity, and automation.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Experience with solution architecture, technical design, and application implementation.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Experience working directly with customers in a consulting or technical support environment.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, manage deliverables, and provide guidance to other developers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple customer priorities in a remote environment.

  Ideal Candidate Profile
  The ideal candidate is a senior-level technical consultant who enjoys both hands-on development and working directly with customers. They should be comfortable moving between application development, integration projects, technical troubleshooting, and solution design.
  This position requires someone who can understand a customer's business problem, determine the best technical approach, build or enhance the solution, and support it after implementation.
  We are looking for someone who can take ownership of technical challenges, communicate effectively with customers, and provide leadership without stepping away from hands-on development.
