Job Description:

The Senior Benefits Analyst will support the administration and optimization of employee benefits and leave of absence programs. This role is highly analytical and operational, requiring strong expertise in compliance, vendor management, and benefits systems. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in leave management, benefits administration, and handling escalations, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers comprehensive benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and voluntary benefits
  • Manages end-to-end leave of absence processes, including FMLA, ADA, and other regulatory requirements
  • Evaluates and resolves complex escalations related to benefits, leave cases, and retirement plans
  • Audits payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper reporting
  • Coordinates data integrations and file transfers with third-party vendors and internal systems
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA, and related requirements
  • Partners with HR, payroll, and external vendors to ensure seamless benefits delivery and issue resolution
  • Develops employee-facing materials for open enrollment, benefits education, and plan communications
  • Produces reporting, analytics, and insights related to benefits utilization and leave trends
  • Supports system configuration, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance within benefits platforms (including ADP)
  • Assists with annual enrollment processes, audits, and implementation of new or updated benefit programs


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration and leave of absence management
  • Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations
  • Hands-on experience with ADP (required)
  • Proven ability to manage escalations and complex employee cases
  • Experience supporting retirement plans and benefits-related data requests
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS certifications are a plus
