Key Responsibilities for the Senior Bookkeeper

• 
  
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, electronic payments, and daily bank deposits.
• 
  
• Process bi-weekly payroll, payroll tax deposits, 401(k) contributions, and related reporting.
• 
  
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
• 
  
• Assist with month-end close activities and prepare financial statements for leadership review.
• 
  
• Partner closely with executive leadership to provide accurate financial data and support business decisions.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Senior Bookkeeper

• Experience with QuickBooks and strong overall bookkeeping/accounting knowledge.

• Background in payroll processing, month-end close activities, and general ledger accounting.
