We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Senior Bridge Project Manager, plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projectsFoster and develop client relationships for yourself and your staffIndependently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's developmentEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsTrack financial aspects of projects and coordinate or adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scheduleCollaborate with peers and team members to create a cohesive practicePerform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects to ensure completion of documents on scheduleWork on projects that typically include bridge types (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable-stayed), box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projectsSelect standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity developmentReview, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITsMentor younger staff and support continued developmentPreferred QualificationsStructural Engineer in the State of Washington (or able to achieve reciprocity within 6 months)20+ years of bridge design experienceFamiliarity with scheduling software such as MS ProjectFamiliarity with engineering software packages such as: PGSuper, SAP2000, CSiBridge, LARSA 4D, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, Midas Civil, MDX, ADINA, RM Bridge, spColumn, or LUSASRequired QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Engineering10 years related experienceA minimum 5 years project management experienceRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
