Senior Building Automation Controls Engineer
Location: Woburn, MA
Salary Range: $45.00 – $65.00+ per hour (based on experience)

BCM Controls is seeking an experienced Senior Building Automation Engineer to lead the programming, commissioning, and delivery of sophisticated Building Automation Systems (BAS) throughout New England.
You'll work on technically challenging projects across healthcare, life sciences, higher education, commercial real estate, and mission-critical facilities while collaborating with a highly experienced engineering team.

What You Will Do:
As a Senior Building Automation Engineer, you'll serve as a technical leader throughout the project lifecycle—from programming and commissioning to customer training and long-term system optimization.
Responsibilities include:
- Program, configure, and commission advanced Building Automation Systems.
- Develop and implement HVAC control strategies for complex facilities.
- Lead system startup, testing, troubleshooting, and owner turnover.
- Perform controller programming, graphics development, and point-to-point verification.
- Troubleshoot complex BAS issues involving controllers, networks, field devices, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Field Technicians to ensure successful project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical best practices.
- Support customers with system optimization and performance improvements.
- Participate in project planning and provide technical recommendations during design and implementation.
- Maintain exceptional customer relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and technical expertise.

Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of Building Automation or HVAC Controls experience.
- Strong experience programming and commissioning Building Automation Systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality.
