Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will perform senior-level business and systems analysis supporting enterprise applications, technology initiatives, and business-process improvement efforts.

The role will coordinate the gathering, development, analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the SDLC. The Business Analyst will also lead process-reengineering initiatives, serve as a liaison between functional and technical teams, support system implementations and enhancements, and manage multiple projects and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, elicit, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements.

• Monitor requirements throughout the complete SDLC.

• Lead business-process reengineering and transformation initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.

• Analyze business policies, procedures, workflows, and system capabilities.

• Serve as liaison between functional business teams and technical teams.

• Analyze user requirements and business problems to improve or automate systems.

• Develop and evaluate business cases for technology and information-management initiatives.

• Coordinate the complete service-request lifecycle.

• Review business requirements, technical specifications, and related project artifacts.

• Coordinate system integration, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Lead process-change requests and manage scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Review complex design documentation, test plans, and risk-assessment plans.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors.

• Define, assign, monitor, and evaluate project work.

• Manage stakeholder relationships and organizational change.

• Track and communicate project performance.

• Coordinate resource availability and allocation.

• Support data-management and data-quality initiatives.

• Support data warehousing, modeling, migration, and integration projects.

• Support secure file-transfer and enterprise architecture initiatives.

• Develop training curriculum and conduct formal system training.

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex business and system issues.

• Develop and revise standards, procedures, and system documentation.

• Facilitate meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Support multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 4%2B years planning, eliciting, analyzing, and managing business requirements throughout the SDLC, including regression testing.

• Minimum 4%2B years leading business-process reengineering and transformation initiatives.

• Minimum 4%2B years serving as a Business Relationship Manager or liaison between functional and technical teams.

• Minimum 4%2B years leading project teams and/or strategic and operational initiatives.

• Minimum 4%2B years managing change and stakeholder relationships.

• Experience tracking and communicating project performance.

• Experience coordinating resources, third parties, and vendors.

• Minimum 4%2B years working with projects involving some of the following:

  • Data Management

  • Data Quality

  • Data Warehousing

  • Data Modeling

  • Data Migration

  • Data Integration

  • Secure File Transfers

• Minimum 4%2B years supporting system implementations and enhancements across enterprise business functions.

• Strong requirements, process-modeling, analytical, and meeting-facilitation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 4%2B years working across diverse business environments, including business consulting.

• Minimum 4%2B years implementing or managing ITSM processes based on ITIL principles.

• Minimum 4%2B years managing or implementing financial systems and/or enterprise cloud applications.

• Minimum 4%2B years of business systems analysis, system configuration, information security, and internal-control framework experience.

• Minimum 4%2B years working with reporting databases, database design/development, data modeling, and data mapping.

• Minimum 4%2B years conducting enterprise business analysis, including:

  • Problem / Opportunity Analysis

  • Business Case Development

  • Business Architecture

  • Feasibility Studies

  • Risk Assessments

• Minimum 4%2B years developing comprehensive system documentation, implementation standards, and training materials.

• Minimum 4%2B years using Microsoft Azure DevOps for requirements management and project implementation.

• Minimum 4%2B years using project-management software.

• Experience with enterprise financial, benefits, procurement, contract management, HR, legal, audit, or related business systems.

• Must currently reside in the Austin metropolitan area.

• Must be available to work onsite at least three days per week.

Education:

• Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Management Information Systems or Business Administration Required

• MBA Preferred
