    Description

    Title: SeniorBusinessData Analyst
    Location: Hybrid (Austin, TX) - Hybrid 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (Mondays & Thursdays). Candidates must be local to Austin, TX**



    SeniorBusinessData Analyst with strong SQL skills and 8 or more years of experience with Integrated Eligibility systems, including full SDLC involvement (requirements through implementation).

    Candidates must be based in Austin, Texas or surrounding area within a 50-mile radius.

    • Experience with the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS)



    Responsibilities:
    Seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst with experience in business and data analysis, including leading JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and analytical findings. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills with the ability to develop and execute complex queries and joins, perform data quality analysis, and translate business needs into actionable insights. Experience designing dashboards, KPIs, and performance measures to support data-driven decision-making is required.

    Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
