    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable data initiatives.
    • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings, updates, and governance reviews.
    • Support and guide the migration of legacy on-prem/mainframe data systems to GCP, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and validate data pipelines, mappings, and quality frameworks.
    • Assist in defining and documenting data lineage, metadata, and governance standards across multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
    • Perform data-driven analysis to uncover opportunities for process improvement and business value creation.
    • Develop business cases, impact assessments, and value realization tracking for cloud transformation projects.
    • Ensure all analytical outputs and data solutions align with enterprise data strategy and compliance requirements.
    • Work closely with project managers, data architects, and business sponsors to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of business data processes and analytics maturity.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 8-10+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst, with at least 3+ years in cloud or data transformation projects.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale data migrations from on-prem legacy/mainframe environments to GCP.
    • Strong understanding of GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc.) and exposure to multi-cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure).
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience influencing senior leaders.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
    • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and understanding of ETL/ELT workflows.
    • Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments with distributed teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
    • Familiarity with modern data architectures (e.g., Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh).
    • Exposure to change management and business process re-engineering during technology transformation programs.
    • Professional certifications such as Google Cloud Data Analyst, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Agile BA are a plus.
