Boundless Care Inc. is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Live-In Senior Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for an 81-year-old female client in San Jose, CA.
Assignment Details:
Location: San Jose, CA 95120.
Position: Live-In Senior Caregiver.
Schedule: Live-in arrangement; specific days and coverage schedule to be confirmed.
Start Date: To be determined, upon client's discharge home.
Care Type: Senior Care / Personal Care / Companionship.
Our client is an 81-year-old woman who requires attentive and compassionate assistance with daily living activities. She has experienced a decline in mobility following a previous brain injury and is currently using a walker.
She needs a caregiver who is patient, experienced, and comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily routines while promoting her comfort, dignity, and safety.
Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide incontinence care and assist with diaper changes as needed.
Offer standby assistance with mobility, walking, and transfers.
Assist with repositioning and getting in and out of bed as needed.
Prepare meals appropriate for the client's dietary needs, including soft foods and bite-sized portions.
Provide meal assistance and monitor eating and hydration.
Offer companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
Provide gentle reminders and assistance with daily routines.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the family and care coordination team.
Qualifications:
Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
At least 1–2 years of professional senior caregiving experience.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Recent TB clearance.
Experience with mobility limitations, incontinence care, and personal care assistance.
Experience supporting seniors with neurological conditions or cognitive challenges is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to care.
Comfortable working in a live-in caregiving arrangement.
