Day-in-the-Life: How You’ll Make It Happen
- Start with safety: partner with our Safety Manager, coach teams on prevention, and enforce protocols with clarity and care.
- Walk the floor: audit carton lines, confirm equipment and sanitation standards, and verify HACCP, Master Sanitation, Weight Control, and quality checks are done on time.
- Steer quality: champion carton-packaging standards, hold the team accountable for specification adherence, and address issues decisively.
- Drive performance: monitor OEE and Throughput Efficiency, align production to plan, and optimize material flow and usage.
- Fix for good: use root-cause and in-house CI tools to analyze quality and process gaps; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead people well: mentor a diverse team, conduct regular one-on-ones with Team Leads, and build capability through targeted training.
- Be our systems pro: serve as SAP Super User across shifts, triage priorities, and guide improvements.
- Partner smartly: support carton-packaging trials, collaborate with HR on labor matters, and participate in grievance meetings or contract discussions when needed.
- Flex for impact: contribute to special projects and other assignments as business needs evolve.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in manufacturing within consumer products; TPM/Lean experience strongly valued.
- Comfort with analytics/automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Zarpac, SQL) to inform decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field.
Where You’ll Work
- Based in Bradenton, Florida—on site at our Tropicana plant every day.
- Reside in the Bradenton area or be willing to relocate for the role.
