Senior Category Leader

Pay Rate: $80-120 per hour
Duration: 4 Months
Work Mode: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Develop, issue, and evaluate RFXs and manage vendors.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
• Influence lines of business, including senior leadership, to gain acceptance and commitment to sourcing strategies.
• Develop, source, and negotiate major contracts with lines of business.
• Play a key role in Supplier Relationship Management and Scorecard process.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to analyze and combine information from different sources to make logical conclusions.
• Knowledge of contract processes, procedures, and relevant contracts and licensing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or a job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• ISM-Institute for Supply Management CPSM-Certified Professional in Supply Management certification.
• LSS-Lean Six Sigma Certification.
• Competency in relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
• Competency in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
• Competency in building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
• Knowledge of database and information systems like SCADA, EMS, OMT, OIS, SAP, ERP, COSO, Teradata, COBIT, and Question Mark.
